Manage EMR systems across heart station, ultrasound, and nuclear departments to coordinate patient needs and diagnostic testing. Connect patients to heart monitors and stress testing equipment while maintaining clinical room supplies.
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and current BLS certification. Candidates must successfully complete an annual Basic Dysrhythmia class.
Proactively manage the EMR across heart station, ultrasound, and nuclear departments to access staff and patient needs. Properly order all diagnostic testing within EMR. Connect patients to heart monitors/stress testing while providing necessary instructions to the patient. Maintain testing rooms in all departments including but not limited to stocking linen, equipment, and supplies. Provide supervisor accurate and timely information regarding patient care issues that cause concern. Communicate problems and ideas to supervisor to improve clinical aspects and overall efficient functioning of the departments. Other duties as requested or assigned.
