The Physical Therapist Assistant is responsible for preparing patients and equipment for treatment and assisting the Physical Therapist with specific procedures. They also maintain treatment schedules and ensure the cleanliness and safety of the facility.
Candidates must have an associate degree in physical therapy or be a graduate of an accredited PTA program and hold a current CPR certificate. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a rehabilitation or nursing home setting is preferred.
