As a Medical Assistant, you will support clinical and front-office operations to ensure a seamless patient experience. You will assist providers with clinical procedures, manage patient flow, perform phlebotomy, and contribute to the overall efficiency of the care center.
Phlebotomy experience is required, along with certification as a Medical Assistant and a minimum of 2 years of experience, preferably in Primary Care or Urgent Care. Candidates must also live within a reasonable commuting distance to Marietta, GA.

As a Medical Assistant at Vera Whole Health, you will support both clinical and front‑office operations to ensure a seamless patient experience. You will assist providers with clinical procedures, manage patient flow, perform phlebotomy, and contribute to the overall efficiency of the care center. How You Will Make an Impact Patient Care Take manual vital signs, document in the EMR, and perform system reviews Perform point‑of‑care testing and assist with diagnostic procedures Administer immunizations, injections, and medications per provider direction Perform phlebotomy, prepare lab work, and process specimens Observe and document patient responses Support patient education and self‑management coaching Track preventive care needs, referrals, and follow‑up care Coordinate care with specialists, disease management, and case management programs Clinic Operations Manage patient flow throughout the care center Prepare exam and procedure rooms based on visit needs Handle multi‑line phones, email communication, and occasional front‑desk duties Maintain inventory and stock clinical supplies Support scheduling, patient registration, and external communications Travel to nearby sites or off‑site events as needed Compliance & Quality Perform QA controls and complete required documentation Follow safety, infection control, and universal precaution standards Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect patient confidentiality Meet medical record documentation standards Participate in quality improvement initiatives, OSHA, and CLIA compliance Team Collaboration Participate in team huddles, meetings, and care‑planning discussions Support clinic performance targets and patient‑experience goals Engage in ongoing training, competency assessments, and continuous learning Perform additional duties as assigned Additional Qualifications Ability to set up exam/procedure rooms using sterile/aseptic technique Understanding of sterilization and autoclave processes Ability to support office‑based procedures Experience documenting in an EMR (required) CPR/BLS certification required (pre‑hire) Employee Health Requirements Hepatitis B vaccination or immunity Negative TB test within 90 days of start date Annual influenza and COVID‑19 vaccinations per company policy Benefits Vera Whole Health offers a comprehensive benefits package, including: Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance 401(k) PTO 13 Paid Holidays Pet Insurance Compensation: $20.00 to $30.00 Beware of fraudulent job postings: While Mosaic Health job advertisements may be found on many sites, our current openings page and its associated Workday account are the only places we accept applications for open roles.
