Market context
Psychiatry APP roles remain competitive in Illinois
Illinois behavioral health programs continue to seek advanced practice providers for PHP and IOP settings, where patient volume and continuity needs can keep psychiatry openings active. These roles are competitive because employers often want a master’s-prepared NP or PA with psychiatry board certification or eligibility, Illinois APP and controlled-substances licensure, and CPR certification. Review the AI-summarized requirements and benefits here to save time, then confirm your licensure status and psychiatry credentials before applying.
