Requires a high school diploma, proof of health career training enrollment, and one year of experience with geriatric populations. Must hold current CPR, AED, and BLS certifications.

The Medical Assistant - Registered is a part of the Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) and will provide support to PACE participants. Tasks include taking vital signs, collecting specimens, handling and processing CLIA waived tests, assisting with procedures as requested and directed by Medical Providers and nurses, performing diagnostic procedures within scope and other procedures as ordered and supervised by Medical Providers, giving immunization shots and other Medical Assistant administrative functions.
Education - High school diploma or equivalent. Proof of enrollment in a health career training or career and technical education program.
Experience - One (1) year in healthcare setting with the geriatric population required. Experience with using electronic health record (EHR) preferred.
Other Requirement(s) - Current CPR AED and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Healthcare Practitioner endorsement at hired site required. Endorsement is not transferable to another healthcare practitioner or clinic. Fluency in English is required: fluency in Mandarin, Cantonese, and/or other Asian Pacific Islander language is valued.
