The Registered Nurse is responsible for conducting preoperative assessments, administering medications, and providing postoperative recovery care in the PACU. They must monitor vital signs, manage patient pain, and coordinate discharge planning with the surgical team.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with a current North Carolina RN license and BLS/ACLS certifications. Previous experience in preoperative and postoperative nursing roles is required.

Collaborate closely with the surgical team, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the smooth flow of preoperative preparations.
Education: · Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Licensure/Certification: · BLS and ACLS Required
· Current RN license in the state of North Carolina.
· Previous experience in a preoperative and postoperative nursing role.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare colleagues.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, adapting to a fast-paced surgical environment.
