Job Summary As a CNA, your primary responsibility is to provide routine daily nursing care and services to assigned residents in accordance with each resident’s assessment and care plan. Your role is critical in promoting the comfort, safety, and well-being of the residents under your care. Key Responsibilities Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and oral hygiene Assist with transferring, repositioning, and transporting residents safely Measure and record vital signs (TPRs), weight, and food/fluid intake as instructed Observe and report changes in residents' conditions or behaviors to the nurse supervisor Maintain residents’ rooms in a clean, safe, and orderly manner Assist with meal delivery and feeding; provide after-meal care Help residents prepare for medical exams or therapies Support restorative and rehabilitative care efforts Ensure documentation is accurate, complete, and timely Respect resident privacy and confidentiality at all times Qualifications High school education or completion of 10th grade minimum Valid California CNA Certification (required) CPR certification (preferred) Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English Basic math, reasoning, and documentation skills Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities Compassionate, reliable, and committed to providing excellent resident care Physical Requirements Ability to lift/move up to 25 pounds Able to stand, walk, bend, and assist residents throughout the shift Must be able to perform duties in a busy, sometimes emotionally stressful environment May be required to assist in resident evacuation during emergencies Work Environment Skilled nursing facility setting with moderate noise levels Exposure to infectious diseases and bodily fluids may occur Team-oriented environment focused on resident well-being
