The Occupational Therapist provides physician-prescribed therapy to improve or minimize physical disabilities for patients in their home environments. They maintain ongoing communication with physicians and healthcare teams regarding patient status and care.
Candidates must be licensed Occupational Therapists in the State of New York and graduates of a CAOTE-approved curriculum. Two years of experience is preferred, along with the ability to work independently.

Maintains ongoing communication with the Physician, healthcare team, and other individuals as needed regarding aspects of care and patient’s status. Communicates with Americare Therapy Services as needed regarding issues related to Rehab services and indicated patient care. Position Qualifications: TWO (2) years of experience, preferred. Licensed by The State of New York as an Occupational Therapist. Graduate from an Occupational therapist curriculum approved by one of the following: The Commission on Accreditation in Occupational Therapy education (CAOTE) or successor organizations of CAOTE.
