Performs non-discretionary tasks related to furnishing drugs and filling unit dose cassettes under pharmacist supervision. Responsibilities include preparing IV medications, maintaining floor stock, and processing wholesaler orders.
Requires a State Pharmacy Technician license in CA or OR. A high school diploma or associate's degree and Pharmaceutical Technician Board certification are preferred.

Performs packaging, manipulative, repetitive, or other nondiscretionary tasks related to the furnishing of drugs, while assisting and under the direct supervision and control of a pharmacist. Fills and delivers the unit dose cassettes from the patients profile to nursing units.
