Responsible for providing and coordinating clinically competent care for patients undergoing hemodialysis, including assessment, planning, and intervention. The role involves administering medications, educating patients and families, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes.
Requires graduation from an accredited School of Nursing, current state licensure, and CPR BLS certification. This is an entry-level position for RNs with less than 2 years of Nephrology experience, though chronic/acute hemodialysis experience is preferred.
