Your day to day as a registered nurse (Rn) pacu
As a Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) in the PACU at Minden Medical Center, you will be a vital part of our patient recovery team. Daily expectations include monitoring vital signs, evaluating patient responses to anesthesia, and providing compassionate care to ensure comfort during the recovery phase. You will collaborate closely with surgeons and anesthesiologists to manage any complications that may arise post-surgery.
Your schedule will primarily be Monday through Friday, with a commitment to taking call as assigned, ensuring our patients receive continuous care. Expect to partake in patient assessments, document care accurately, and assist in educating patients and their families about recovery protocols.
