The Outpatient RN delivers general and psychiatric nursing care to adolescent and adult outpatients with emotional disorders or addictive behaviors. They manage PHP activities, administer medications, and lead educational groups as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Candidates must hold a valid Georgia RN license and a Bachelor's degree. One to three years of relevant nursing experience is required.
The Outpatient Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering quality general and psychiatric nursing care to adolescent and adult outpatients treated for psychiatric, emotional disorders and/ or addictive behaviors; serving actively and constructively as a member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team, supporting the organization and program/ unit philosophy of care; ensuring the safety and well-being of each patient. The Outpatient RN is in charge of the PHP activities for each shift. The Outpatient RN administers prescribed medications and provides medication and other educational groups.
Qualifications: RN License-GA Bachelor Degree 1 to 3 years of experience
