• The new state-of-the-art hospital will join UHS’ growing regional network of healthcare operations which includes Wellington Regional Medical Center, the ER at Westlake (an extension of Wellington Regional Medical Center), Wellington Physicians Urgent Care and other healthcare services and access points.

• Certified OR Tech, PRN The Operating Room Scrub Technician supports safe, efficient surgical care by preparing the sterile field, anticipating surgical team needs, maintaining aseptic technique, and ensuring proper handling of instruments, supplies, and specimens.

Qualifications

Certified OR Tech Job Requirements

• Education
• Requirements: Graduate from an accredited Surgical Technology program.

Experience

Acute care OR experience one to three years required. Multi-service line experience preferred.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of aseptic technique and sterile field management. Understanding of surgical instrumentation and procedural flow. Ability to anticipate procedural needs. Strong attention to detail and safety. Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Ability to follow policies, procedures, and regulatory standards. Manual dexterity and physical stamina for prolonged standing and lifting. Flexibility to work variable shifts, weekends, holidays, and call.
