Purpose of this position
Children’s Service Center is currently looking for an energetic and dependable person who works well independently and collectively as a treatment team member.
If you are ambitious and confident in your ability to learn, the Therapist- Family Based Services (similar to: Intensive Family Services, Counselor, Multisystemic Therapist, Family Integrated Therapy, Behavioral Health Services) mental health position is right for you.
You will provide in-home Therapy services to help support the family needs.

This team member will be fully trained to provide services to youth and/or families in the primary setting of the family’s home.
This position will report to the Family Based Director.
Responsibilities
include, but are not limited to:
Ability to plan and integrate all clinical services received by the family and/or child such as family, individual, group or other therapies/treatments needed
Ability to analyze, interpret, and evaluate clinical records, in order:
Make clinical recommendations
Formulate treatment service plans and family goals to maintain ongoing family stability
Knowledge of psychotherapeutic modalities, principles and practices
demonstrated capacity to further develop these skills
Knowledge of individual and group behavior and interrelationships between families, social, economic, psychological and physiological factors
Hours worked are from 10am to 6pm with the flexibility for crisis stabilization based on the family need

Qualifications
A Graduate Degree in psychiatry, psychology, social work, nursing, education, rehabilitation or a degree in the field of Human Service plus 2 years’ experience in a CASSP system program.
Or
A Bachelors Degree in psychology, sociology, social work, nursing, rehabilitation, education, pre-med, theology, anthropology, or a degree in the field of Human Services plus certification by the OMH as a mental health Family Based Worker.
