Provides pharmaceutical services including the preparation and dispensation of drugs. Ensures the proper storage, packaging, stability, and disposition of pharmaceuticals under general supervision.
Requires successful completion of clinical rotations toward a PharmD degree from an accredited college. Must hold a pharmacy intern certification from the Louisiana Board of Pharmacy.
Provides proper and adequate pharmaceutical service, including preparation and dispensation of all drugs. The Pharmacy Intern ensures proper storage, packaging, stability, and disposition of pharmaceuticals. Performs these functions and other duties as assigned under the general supervision of the Director of Pharmacy Services and according to legal requirements and hospital policy.
