MUSC Health is seeking an ABEM Board Certified/Board Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician to join an established, physician-led emergency medicine team serving three hospitals within its Catawba Division. This role offers an opportunity to work on a PRN basis, in a well-supported ED providing a variety in practice setting while maintaining scheduling equity and consistency. MUSC Health Lancaster Medical Center (LMC): 211-bed hospital with 24-bed ED offering comprehensive inpatient and specialty services in Lancaster, SC. The hospital is a Joint Commission-designated Primary Stroke Center, and its Emergency Department is recognized by SC-DPH as a “Pediatric Ready” hospital.
MUSC Health Chester Medical Center (CMC): 82-bed acute care hospital with 13-bed ED delivering emergency services and comprehensive clinical care to patients in Chester County. CMC’s Emergency Department is recognized by SC-DPH as a “Pediatric Ready” hospital
MUSC Health Indian Land Medical Center: 52-bed hospital with an anticipated 24 bed ED currently under construction in Indian Land, SC and set to open late 2027
