Physician Clinic LPN or Medical Assistant—BWCC

• LPN—The Physician Clinic Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) coordinates clinic activities for assigned clinic and provides patient care.
• This LPN is responsible for meeting the approved Standards of Practice, manages supplies and equipment in the clinic, and for promoting collaboration with physician and other health care providers.
• Licensed Practical Nurse Diploma.
• Currently licensed as a practical nurse in the State of Nebraska.
• Current CPR/BLS.

• Medical Assistant—Rooms patients, obtains and documents vital signs, and completes rooming process for patients of all ages.
• Assists nursing personnel with care of patient as directed by director/leader and/or provider within the scope of a Medical Assistant.
• Answers internal and external telephone calls for clinic and performs other clerical duties as directed.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of Medical Assisting program.
• Certified Medical Assistant preferred.
• Currently licensed as a Medication Aide – 40 Hour in the State of Nebraska required.
• Current CPR/BLS.
• Previous experience in physician clinic and experience with Electronic Medical Record preferred.

Shift Schedule

On-Call/PRN - as needed, days/hours, would include

• Monday-Friday 7:30am-5:00pm, 36-hour work week
