The Registered Nurse is accountable for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for assigned OBGYN patients. Responsibilities include directing support personnel, communicating patient status to multidisciplinary teams, and participating in quality improvement activities.
Candidates must hold a current Registered Professional Nurse license in Illinois and be graduated from an accredited school of nursing. AHA Basic Life Support CPR certification is required, and one year of experience is preferred.
Directs patient care provided by support personnel for a specific shift. Identifies changes in patient's physiological condition. Communicates patient status to multidisciplinary team members. Communicates directly with patient and family about nursing care. Provides clinical interventions to meet patient needs. Documents the nursing process. Assimilates information from multiple sources and implements appropriate action plan to provide safe, quality care. Assures safety and security of patients, significant others and staff.

Required: Current license as a Registered Professional Nurse or eligible in the State of Illinois. Graduated from an accredited school of nursing. American Heart Association Basic Life Support CPR certification.
One year of experience.
