Must have completed a Family Nurse Practitioner program, hold national certification, and be licensed to practice in the District of Columbia. BLS certification and proof of vaccinations are also required.

Community of Hope is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner to work closely with our physicians, nurses and other care team members to provide primary and preventive healthcare services to individuals and families across the lifespan, emphasizing health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic and acute conditions. This position is located at our Conway Health & Resource Center in SW, Washington, DC.

Must-Haves Completion of a Family Nurse Practitioner program of study. National Certification as Family Nurse Practitioner. Licensed to practice in the District of Columbia required. Any providers who are licensed in Maryland who provide a copy of their license and MD CDS to Talent Management are also eligible for MD licensure reimbursement. BLS certification. (ACLS or BLS for the Healthcare Provider or equivalent). Able to work across clinical sites as needed. Shares Saturday clinic coverage with other providers by completing at least one Saturday shift per month. Ability to work evening hours as needed. Proof of vaccinations is required. COH will consider requests for reasonable accommodations for anyone who cannot be vaccinated for a religious or medical reason, subject to applicable law. Nice-to-Haves Bilingual in Spanish and/or Amharic. Familiarity with eClinicalWorks. Commitment to work with underserved populations in an urban setting. Nonprofit or mission-driven healthcare experience.
