Provide outpatient substance use therapy and facilitate intensive outpatient and Medically Assisted Treatment groups for adults and families. Conduct intakes, assessments, and develop comprehensive treatment plans to track patient progress.
Requires a Master's degree in a human services field and licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as an LPC, LCSW, or Clinical Psychologist in Virginia. A valid driver's license and one year of relevant experience or education are required.
Provide substance therapy and outpatient substance abuse services for adults and families at the agency who have been referred by an outside agency or by self-referral to address substance abuse and/or mental health issues Facilitate Substance Use Intensive Outpatient and Medically Assisted Treatment groups as well as Individual therapy for those in Substance Use programs. Assist with development of Substance Use programming to include diversity awareness of gender, race, sexual orientation, etc, interim services for pregnant women and women with dependent children, individuals with HIV, individuals with TB, and individuals injecting substances. Develop treatment plans for the adults and families who are receiving substance use outpatient therapy and/or substance abuse group therapy to track progress in presenting problems and or behaviors. Conduct substance abuse intakes and assessments and orientation to services for adults and families who have been referred for therapy and substance abuse services.
