The Respiratory Therapist provides therapeutic, diagnostic, and supportive services for neonatal through adult patients. They are responsible for applying scientific knowledge to clinical problems and participating in resuscitative and emergent situations.
Candidates must have a valid Wisconsin RCP license and BLS certification, with RRT and PALS certifications strongly preferred or required within 6 months. A completion of a respiratory therapy program is required, and at least 1 year of experience is preferred for PRN roles.
