The Mental Health Technician provides direct patient care under supervision, ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment. Responsibilities include conducting safety checks, assisting with daily living activities, and supporting patient groups.
Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in an addiction or inpatient psychiatric setting and preferably hold a degree. Effective communication, teamwork, and organizational skills are essential.
