$30 - $32 / HOUR
Provide comprehensive nursing support to medical providers in general and surgical settings, including patient intake and perioperative care. Responsible for maintaining sterile fields, administering medications, and ensuring accurate medical documentation.
Requires a Registered Nurse license with a strong understanding of sterile techniques and medical terminology. While dermatology and surgical experience are preferred, they are not strictly required for candidates.
Requirements Skills in operating complicated surgical equipment and instruments. Knowledge of Licdocaine toxicity and aware of what to do in emergency situations with medication administration. Knowledgeable in the care and handling of surgical instruments and the operation and testing of sterile processing equipment such as autoclaves and sonic cleaners. Thorough knowledge of medical terminology and sterile technique, required. Detail oriented, professional attitude, reliable Management and organizational skills to support the leadership of this function Ability to follow or provide verbal & written instructions with sufficient grammar and spelling skills to avoid mistakes or misinterpretations Interpersonal skills to support customer service, functional, and team mate support needs Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing Mathematical and/or analytical ability for basic to intermediate problem solving Basic to intermediate computer operation Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook Specialty knowledge of systems relating to job function Knowledge of state and federal regulations for this position; general understanding of HIPAA and AAAHC guidelines Complete a minimum of five hours of CEU’s in infection control continuing education pertaining to surgical services on an annual basis. If documented competency completed in suturing, assists surgeon during surgical repair. SECTION 5: Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
