*Pathology Assistant

Full-Time days

• The Pathology Assistant performs laboratory and clerical functions. .
• Assists Pathologist, Histology Technician or Histology Technologist with histology specimen management and histological staining.
• Assures proper maintenance of equipment, provision of adequate supplies and cleanliness of the pathology lab (tissue lab) and tissue storage area(s).
• Files slides, consults and retrieves slides/blocks as requested by the Pathologist.
• Completes established training for the position within designated introductory period.
• Other related duties as assigned
