Salary
$35 / HOUR
Triage pediatric patients, obtain vitals, and perform clinical procedures including phlebotomy and EKGs. Support providers with urgent care treatments and provide education to patients and their families.
Requires a current NYS LPN license, BLS and PALS certifications, and experience in pediatric phlebotomy and EKGs. Experience in urgent care or emergency medicine is strongly preferred.
Competitive Compensation starting at $38ph and up + Full Benefits Consistent Evening & Weekend Schedules Opportunities for Growth Within an Expanding Pediatric Urgent Care Program 401(k) with Employer Match Medical, Dental & Vision Benefits Paid Time Off Employee Wellness & Discount Programs Supportive Team Environment Focused on Collaboration & Development What You’ll Do Triage and room pediatric patients while obtaining vitals, medical histories, and clinical intake information Perform pediatric phlebotomy, including venipuncture and capillary blood draws Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as ordered by providers Perform EKGs, point-of-care testing, CBCs, and other basic lab procedures Assist providers with urgent care procedures and support clinical patient flow Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans and follow-up care Return patient calls and communicate lab results under provider guidance Assist with referrals, prior authorizations, and medical forms Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA standards What We’re Looking For Current NYS LPN License required Graduate of an accredited nursing program required Current BLS and PALS certifications required Phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric venipuncture and capillary collection EKG certification/experience required Urgent care, emergency medicine, or pediatric experience strongly preferred Strong clinical judgment and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Working knowledge of medical terminology and dosage calculations Excellent communication and customer service skills EMR experience required; AthenaOne experience preferred Bilingual English/Spanish a plus Positive, professional, team-oriented attitude Be Part of Something Bigger We’re not just filling positions.
