• FTE: 1.0 (full time 40 hrs/wk) Shift: Day: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM OR Swing: 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM Schedule: Sunday - Thursday OR Tuesday - Saturday.

• PACT (Program for Assertive Community Treatment) is an intensive and highly integrated approach for community mental health service delivery.
• The multidisciplinary team shares a caseload of individuals who experience symptoms of the most serious forms of mental illness, predominantly but not exclusively the schizophrenia spectrum disorders.
• Many individuals also experience substance abuse, victimization and trauma, psychiatric hospitalizations, arrests and incarceration, homelessness, and additional significant challenges.
• The symptoms and complications of mental illnesses lead to serious functioning difficulties in several areas of life, often including work, social relationships, residential independence, money management, and physical health and wellness.

Duties & Responsibilities

Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team including mental health professionals, nurses, prescribers, peer counselors, SUD specialists, and vocational staff. Deliver recovery-oriented services such as case management, treatment planning, resource assistance, crisis intervention, and group/individual services. Assist clients in identifying and accessing resources and collaborate with community resources on behalf of clients. Assist clients in the development of healthy coping mechanisms in individual or group settings. Conduct risk assessments, develop and implement safety plans, and provide crisis intervention and stabilization services as needed, including facilitating access to inpatient facilities for behavioral health care. Provide ongoing support to clients in their homes and community environments. Participate in the 24/7 on-call rotation and deliver after-hours support as needed. This position requires regular driving and mobility in community settings.

Position Summary

The Mental Health Professional – BA works in various capacities to diagnose and treat individuals suffering from mental health disorders. You may conduct intake assessments, while providing counseling and case management to their assigned case load, with final review from a master's prepared MHP.

You will conduct screenings including psycho-social assessments, assess suicidal risk and provide appropriate interventions You will assist patients with orientation to the department and provide patients and families with psycho-education You will provide person-centered counseling, advocacy, and case management for patients You will develop treatment plans which clearly identify the patient’s voice, treatment strategies, and specific outcome measures You will meet agency documentation standards and authorization requirements of contracts Requirements: A bachelor’s degree in mental health related field of study required Five (5) years of experience working under a licensed Mental Health Professional required Agency Affiliated Counselor - Certified. Pay and Benefit Expectations We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $30.40 - $43.75 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
