Starting hourly rate from $51.73 - $56.66 hourly Position Responsibilities In this role, you will: Accurately prepare, verify, and dispense medications according to physician orders and established protocols. Review prescriptions for clinical appropriateness, ensuring safe, effective, and evidence-based medication use. Monitor drug therapies for interactions, contraindications, and dosing accuracy; recommend adjustments when needed. Provide expert consultation to healthcare providers, patients, and families on medication selection, side effects, and best practices. Maintain accurate documentation, legal records, and compliance with all pharmacy regulations. Supervise and mentor pharmacy support staff, ensuring smooth daily operations and adherence to quality standards. Actively participate in process improvement initiatives, embracing new technologies and innovations that enhance patient care. Step in for the pharmacy manager as needed to ensure continuity of service.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited college of pharmacy. Active, unrestricted pharmacy license in any U.S. state or territory. 2–3 years of experience in pharmacy practice (retail or outpatient experience preferred). Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Proficiency with computer systems and electronic records. Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
