The Medical Social Worker manages a group of patients, collaborating with physicians to advocate for patients and families during acute care. They monitor resource utilization and coordinate safe, timely discharges using community and government resources.
Candidates must hold a Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) and a current license in the state of West Virginia. At least one year of clinical social work experience in a community or hospital setting is required, along with BLS certification.
Minimum of Master’s Degree (MSW) from approved school of Social Work, holds a current license in the state of West Virginia. No temporary permits accepted.
Certifications in Care Management preferred, not required. BLS required.
MSW Social Worker, Licensed (MSW) Social Worker should have one (1) year of clinical Social Work experience, community bases and/or hospital based.
