The nurse is responsible for the pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care of patients in an office-based anesthesia setting. Additional duties include managing pharmacy supplies, equipment handling, and participating in quality improvement activities.
Ambulatory Anesthesia Care has helped create a safe, effective, and financially viable office-based anesthesia model that's been replicated across the country. We're proud to be growing our office-based anesthesia roots in Austin, TX, and we're looking for skilled, compassionate pre/intra/post-op Perianesthesia RNs to join our team supporting pediatric dental procedures in our Austin office-based facilities, 2–3 days per week.

Our cases are office-based pediatric dental procedures on healthy children, performed during standard business hours, Monday through Friday — no evenings, Sundays, or holidays.

What you'll do The Perianesthesia nurse is responsible for the pre-operative assessment and care of each pediatric patient, along with intra-operative and post-operative/recovery care. Additional responsibilities include maintaining pharmacy and supplies, safely handling all equipment, and participating in quality and performance improvement activities. From time to time, you may help complete pre-operative patient assessments through our secure patient portal.

Candidates must have an active Texas RN license and at least 3 years of experience in ER, ICU, or PACU. BLS and ACLS certifications are required, while PALS is preferred.
