Perform clerical and receptionist duties within the department. Maintain the confidentiality and organization of patient medical records and supplies.
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience as a unit clerk or nurse's aide and certification as a Health Unit Coordinator are preferred.
Perform all clerical and receptionist duties that are relevant to department. Responsible for the maintenance and confidentiality of patient’s medical records. Maintains necessary paper forms and supplies.
Education & Experience: High school education or its equivalent. Previous experience as unit clerk/nurse's aide preferred. Medical terminology preferred, computer experience. Certification/Licensure: Certified Health Unit Coordinator, preferred. Knowledge & Skills: Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to complete computer tasks.
