The Parent Partner provides direct mental health services, advocacy, and mentoring to youth and families within Intensive Services Programs. They ensure parents are informed decision-makers and represent family interests in agency and community meetings.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and personal lived experience as a parent or long-term caretaker of a special needs child involved with systems like DCFS or Mental Health. A valid California driver's license and vehicle access are required.

The Parent Partner must be able to work from a strengths based perspective with families. They must be able to demonstrate empathy and understanding when working with caregivers. The Parent Partner must be comfortable sharing their personal experience and utilize good judgement. The Parent Partner must be able to work independently and utilize organization and time management skills to meet the requirements of the position.
Position Location: Lancaster, CA
$23.10 - $33.77 per hour
Additional $1.00 per hour bilingual Spanish differential.
