The Ultrasound Technician is responsible for using sonographic equipment to visualize internal anatomy and identify abnormalities. They prepare exam rooms, assist radiologists with procedures, and maintain equipment quality assurance.
Candidates must hold a current state license and be registered with the ARRT or RDMS. Specialized continuing education specifically in breast ultrasound is required.
Montclair Breast Center is seeking an Ultrasound Technician, or Sonographer, responsible for using ultrasound equipment to help visualize internal anatomy functions. Their duties include calibrating and manipulating ultrasound equipment to conduct appointments, taking pictures or videos of potential abnormalities and discreetly notifying medical personnel if they identify something concerning. Montclair Breast Center is seeking a per diem, part-time, or full-time ultrasound technician.
