The RN provides high-quality, individualized care to emergency department patients using the nursing process and evidence-based practice. They collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and participate in shared governance and professional development.
Requires a nursing license (Single State or Compact) and certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC. An associate degree in nursing is required, while a bachelor's degree and two years of RN experience are preferred.

BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact PALS - Pediatric Adv Life Support or ARC-PALS - Amer Red Cross Pediatric Advanced Life Support or PALS-I - PALS - Instructor or PALS-P - PALS-Provisional (180 Days) within 180 Days TNCC - Trauma Nurse Core Course or ATCN - Adv Trauma Care for Nurses Cer or TNCC-P - Trauma Nurse Core Course - Provisional (18 Months) within 18 Months ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support or ARC-ALS - Amer Red Cross Advanced Life Support or ACLS-I - ACLS - Instructor or ACLS-P - ACLS-Provisional (180 Days) within 180 Days
Required Minimum Experience: Minimum 2 years RN experience preferred
Ability to read, write and speak English language, optimize the use of technology to support clinical care and holds basic computer skills Strong interpersonal, collaborative skills along with customer service skills required Ability to function in a fast paced environment and respond to emergencies in using a decisive, composed and respectful manner Possess excellent time management skills practices nursing using evidence and analytical skills along with possessing strong critical thinking skills.
