The pharmacist is responsible for filling prescriptions, dispensing medications, and advising healthcare practitioners on dosage and side effects. They also oversee pharmacy technicians and maintain strict records for pharmaceutical storage and control.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree or Pharm D from an accredited school of pharmacy. A valid pharmacist license in Mississippi is required prior to the hire date.
To fill prescriptions, dispense medicines, and provide information to patients and other health practitioners regarding the nature and use of medications. To advise physicians and other health practitioners on the selection, dosage, interactions, and side effects of medications.
Possession of a controlled substance license or eligible for licensure. Must be licensed prior to hire date.
Education & Experience Bachelor's degree or Pharm D from an accredited school of pharmacy; experience cannot be substituted for educational requirement.
Licensed as a pharmacist in Mississippi or eligible for licensure. Must be licensed prior to hire date.
