(1) Performs basic patient care attending to physical and emotional needs of the patient in a family oriented environment. (2) Documentation is in compliance with hospital policy and procedure and other regulatory agencies. (3) Effectively understands and operates basic equipment used routinely on the unit (EKG, VSM, Accucheck, etc.) (4) Demonstrates the ability to work safely and responsibly under general supervision. (5) Demonstrates behaviors necessary for age-specific care and knowledge of decision making process for all ages of population(s) served. (6) Complies with standards set forth by The Joint Commission and other regulatory agencies. (7) Participates in Quality Improvement and other process(s) as requested.

*Supports annual departmental, facility and system goals.

Compliance Statement

*Employee performs within the prescribed limits of Tanner Health System's Ethics and Compliance program. Is responsible to detect, observe, and report compliance variances to their immediate supervisor, the Compliance Officer, or the Hotline.
