Qualifications

All job qualifications listed indicate the minimum level necessary to perform this job proficiently.

Education

• Preferred: High school grad or equivalent. Training as a nursing assistant.

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations

• Minimum: American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Preferred:

• GVCH departments: Current CAN certificate preferred.

Technical Requirements

• Minimum: Ability to use computer charting (electronic medical record).

Years of Related Work Experience

• Preferred: 1 to 2 yrs experience in acute care setting.
