The Certified Nursing Assistant will assist clients with daily activities, monitor their health status, and support their participation in recreational activities. They will also maintain a clean and safe environment and collaborate with team members to deliver personalized care plans.
Candidates must possess a valid New York State CNA license and have prior experience working with adults diagnosed with Dementia and/or Intellectual Disabilities. A high school diploma is required, and CPR certification is preferred.

Education & Certification Requirements Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent required Associate’s Degree or completion of a two-year technical program preferred Current CNA Certificate required CPR certification preferred Valid NYS Driver’s License with a clean record required Experience Required: Prior experience working with adults diagnosed with Dementia and/or Intellectual Disabilities. Demonstrated understanding of health care practices, including patient safety, daily living support, and person-centered care. Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members. Commitment to maintaining dignity, respect, and quality of life for individuals receiving care. Physical and Mental Demands Must maintain good physical and mental health with the ability to perform duties objectively under stress. Ability to stand and/or walk for the majority of the workday. Regularly required to push or pull equipment and assist registrants in wheelchairs. Must be capable of handling the physical requirements of caregiving while maintaining professionalism and compassion.
