The role involves assisting providers and staff with clinical and administrative functions to ensure safe and therapeutic patient care. The technician supports the delivery of primary health care under direct supervision within a gastroenterology clinic.
Applicants must have a High School diploma or GED and a vocational diploma from a medical assistant program. A valid certification from an accredited program such as AAMA, AMT, NCCT, or CCMA is required for Medical Assistant candidates.
This is a dual posted position. The Medical Assistant applicant must have High School or GED and a Vocational/Technical Diploma from a medical assistant program AND Valid and current medical assistant certification from an accredited program (AAMA, AMT, NCCT, CCMA
The Multi Skilled Technician is responsible for assisting the provider and staff in clinical and administrative functions to provide safe, efficient and therapeutic patient care. Under the direct supervision of the clinic providers the Multi Skilled Technician assists in the delivery of primary health care.
