The Mammography Technologist is responsible for obtaining high-quality mammograms in accordance with ACR/FDA requirements. They also collect patient histories, locate prior examinations, and prepare necessary paperwork for radiologist interpretation.
Candidates must have a JRCERT approved program completion or an Associate degree in Radiology Technology and be registered with the ARRT. State of Ohio licensure is required, and advanced certification in mammography must be obtained within 12 months of hire.
