Performs various radiographic procedures including fluoroscopy and orthopedic imaging while ensuring high-quality results and patient safety. Responsible for reviewing exam protocols, documenting completions in medical records, and maintaining equipment cleanliness.
Requires graduation from an approved Radiologic Technology program and licensure from the New York State Department of Health. Must hold ARRT registration and have experience with Radiology Information Systems and radiographic equipment.
Performs routine radiographic, neurography, urography and orthopedic radiography, fluoroscopy and special assignments. Produces high quality radiographs with minimum stress and exposure to the patient by dealing tactfully and cooperatively with patients and general public.
