Provide integrative psychotherapy and expressive arts therapy to individuals and families facing chronic or life-threatening illnesses. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of physicians and health practitioners to coordinate care and implement behavioral health best practices.
Requires a Master's degree in a mental health discipline and a valid California license as an LCSW, LMFT, or Psychologist. Candidates should have at least 2 years of relevant experience and a preference for ACHP-SW certification.
EDUCATION: Master's: Degree in a Mental Health Discipline CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE: LCSW - Licensed Clinical Social Worker OR LMFT - Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist OR PSY - Psychologist of California TYPICAL EXPERIENCE: 2+ years of recent relevant experience SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: Ability to assess the needs of the patient, provide high quality integrative psychotherapy, guided imagery and other evidenced based approaches as indicated Knowledge of holistic assessment, care plan development and outcomes tracking methods Capacity to work within the integrative medicine model as practiced at the Institute for Health & Healing and in line with most recent research findings regarding behavioral health in the ambulatory care setting Candidate must have desire and ability to work as an active member of an interdisciplinary practice team led by physicians Required to have knowledge of the most recent Board of Behavioral Science requirements and adhere to them Job Shift: Days Schedule: Full Time Days of the Week: Variable Weekend Requirements: As Needed Benefits: Yes Unions: No Position Status: Exempt Weekly Hours: 32 Employee Status: Regular Sutter Health is an equal opportunity employer EOE/M/F/Disability/Veterans.
