The Animal Dental Center in Columbia and Annapolis MD is hiring a full- time Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant.

Compensation

• $19/hr+
• Schedule: 4/10-hour shifts per week (7:30am - 5:30pm)

Position Overview

Qualified applicants have established skills in anesthesia, I.V. catheterization, pre / post-surgical patient care, and patient recovery. Our practice has a strong focus on client education; therefore excellent client communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Candidates should possess a strong work ethic as part of a very dedicated team and thrive in a fast-paced / high-reward professional environment.

Requirements

• 1-2 year's experience as a veterinary technician or assistant.
• Caring and empathetic client care.
• Be able to lift 50lbs comfortably.
• Schedule flexibility (some longer days, but no weekend hours necessary).
• Computer / Technology proficiency and ability to learn medical / dental specialty software as necessary.
