At Logan Health, our Children’s Primary Care team provides focused, compassionate care for children from birth through their teen years. We are seeking a Registered Medical Assistant or Certified Medical Assistant to join our patient-focused pediatric primary care clinic. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys meaningful patient and family interactions, values teamwork, and is committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care in a pediatric setting.

What You'll Be Doing

Greet, room, and prepare patients for examinations and treatments, including obtaining medical histories and vital signs.

Assist providers during examinations, procedures, and treatments while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Collect laboratory specimens, perform competency-validated clinical tasks, and accurately document patient information in the electronic medical record.

Coordinate patient care activities including referrals, diagnostic testing, prior authorizations, scheduling, and follow-up appointments.

Support daily clinic operations by maintaining exam rooms, equipment, and supplies while assisting with patient calls and portal communications.

Qualifications

• Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through an accredited certifying organization.

  • OR
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through an accredited certifying organization.
  • RQI Provider (BLS) within seven (7) days of hire/transfer or before providing independent patient care, whichever comes first.
  • Preferred Experience
  • One (1) year of experience in a medical practice setting preferred.
  • Medical office experience and medical terminology training preferred.
  • Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, basic laboratory values, pharmacology, infection control practices, and HIPAA requirements preferred.
  • Professional Qualifications
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, critical thinking, and the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
  • Commitment to professionalism, patient confidentiality, and exceptional patient care.
  • Ability to act with integrity, kindness, and empathy.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn additional software systems as needed.

Shift

Day Shift - 9 Hours (United States of America)

Schedule

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
