The role involves managing post-operative and critically ill patients within the hospital and evaluating patients in an office setting. The provider will apply specialized knowledge in CVOR, ICU, CCU, and CVICU areas to ensure excellence in patient care.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Nursing or graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant program. A current Georgia state license for Advanced Practice Nursing or as a Physician Assistant is required.
Overview Piedmont Healthcare is recruiting for an Advanced Practice Provider to join the Oncology team at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital.
Serves as a member of a surgical service line team by assisting in management of post-operative and critically ill patients in the hospital, as well as evaluating pre and post-operative patients in the office setting. Applies specialized skills and knowledge related to the care of patients in the CVOR, ICU, CCU and CVICU areas. Contributes to excellence in patient care, research, teaching, consulting and provides leadership to the organization.
Education Master’s degree Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with current Georgia license for Advanced Practice Nursing and a Master’s in Nursing, OR graduate of an accredited Physician Assistants program with current license for the Georgia State Composite Board Required Work Experience No experience required Required Licenses and Certifications Licensed Physician Assistant in the State of Georgia.
