Job Description

Horizon is looking for a knowledgeable and eager Emergency Veterinarian or Critical Care Veterinarian who approaches their role with kindness and dedication and is ready to join the Horizon Emergency & Critical Care Team! If emergency surgery is your passion, you will find ample opportunities to pursue this, as well as many other aspects of veterinary medicine. We are looking for an individual with a positive attitude, confidence, who is detail oriented and diligent. The veterinarian in this position must possess excellent communication skills, approaching each patient and client with kindness and understanding, sensitive to the vast variety of situations that an emergency veterinarian encounters. Rounds occur daily, all of our doctors' support and consult on cases Compensation Range- $175,000-250,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

DVM degree from an accredited veterinary school. Valid veterinary license to practice in California. Previous experience in emergency or critical care preferred but not required. Strong communication skills and a commitment to client education. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-doctor environment.
