We are seeking a compassionate and caring Outpatient Therapist to provide person-centered therapy to amazing clients living with mental health and/or substance use challenges in our outpatient clinic in Whiteville, NC.

Your Role in Our Mission

As an Outpatient Therapist on the team, you’ll play a vital role in helping both youth and adults build brighter, healthier futures. You’ll conduct screenings, evaluations, and diagnostic assessments to develop meaningful treatment goals and person-centered plans (PCPs) that reflect each client’s unique voice, needs, and aspirations.

You’ll also have the opportunity to design and lead therapy groups, fostering connection and growth. This is a wonderful opportunity to utilize your passions and creativity. Whether that’s art therapy, mindfulness, movement, or other therapeutic approaches.

Compensation & Benefits • Competitive salary

  • $55,000 - 57,000 for provisional licensure; range for full licensure starts at $58,000+
  • Generous paid time off and paid holidays

What We’re Looking For • Education

  • A Master’s degree and mental health licensure are required.
  • LCSW(A), LCMHC(A) and/or LCAS(A);
  • Dual licensure preferred
  • Proficiency with EHR systems or technically savvy.
  • Valid driver’s license, insurance and reliable transportation for work-related travel
