We’re looking for a dedicated PRN Behavior Technician to provide compassionate care and support to adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities and mental health needs in our short-term Crisis Therapeutic Home in Staunton, VA.
We are hiring for: PRN / as needed
The Behavior Technician (I OR II) will help lead daily programs and group activities designed to promote growth, engagement, and skill development.
You will provide rehabilitative interventions and implement therapeutic strategies to help the guests achieve their goals, while also assisting with personal care to ensure safety and dignity.
Collaboration is key!
You will work closely with primary care providers, referral sources, and families to deliver consistent, compassionate, and coordinated care.
You will also provide education, guidance, and a judgment-free, supportive environment where every voice is heard.
Additionally, you will maintain daily documentation and reporting in our electronic health system of record.
