The Registered Professional Nurse independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients. All care must be delivered in accordance with physician orders, established guidelines, and the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited nursing school, hold a Georgia RN license, and be BLS certified. A BSN degree and two years of experience as an RN are preferred.

The Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES, LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations. Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS). KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED: BSN degree Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN). Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units. Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units. Work Hours: 7am-7pm Weekend Requirements: Yes On-Call Requirements: No
