Assist the Activity Director in planning and directing the residents' activity program. Facilitate individual and group activities for residents of varying functioning levels and handle daily mail delivery.
The position is entry-level and requires the ability to provide one-to-one activities for bedfast residents. Candidates must be available to assist with night and weekend programs as needed.
Big Meadows Nursing Home is seeking a Part Time Activity Aide. The Activity Aide will be responsible for assisting the Activity Director in planning, coordinating, and directing the residents’ activity program.
Facilitate both individual and group activities based on the individual needs of the residents. Ensure that activities are occurring for both high and low functioning residents Provide activities for residents that are bedfast and/or unable to participate in group activities (one to one) and document in the appropriate record Assist with activity programs night and weekend activities as needed Deliver resident mail daily Other duties as assigned by the Activity Director and/or Administrator
