Requirements summary
Must be a graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program with an Associate's degree and hold or obtain certification. Current BLS certification is required prior to the end of the orientation period.
A clinically competent surgical technologist works under the supervision of the registered nurse in delivering safe and effective care to the patient in the intra-operative period.

Position Qualifications Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology Program, Associates Degree, and keeps current with surgical procedures.
